2015 Peacock original painting.
Size: 24" x 36" x 1.5" | 60.9 cm x 91.4 cm x 3.5 cm
Medium: Acrylics on canvas
This is one of a kind original painting of a peacock. This has been the toughest, longest and most annoying painting to paint so far. But the result is so much more pleasing. I love how this painting turned out. I am absolutely in love with the liquid gold leaf I used to accent the feathers, ring and crown. When the light source changes the way the gold reflects changes too. And when it is hard to see the colors of the paint looking at the painting from the side the gold leaf accents just shine.
Along with other art I have it is going to be on sale this Saturday, April 25th at Riverside Art Market, in front of Riverside Art Museum. If you are going to be in downtown Riverside, CA don't be shy and come by my booth. I love meeting new people!
